State of the World…

This week we saw the effects of strong individuals and institutions!

Poland continues to face the effects of going "free of LGBT,” the United Kingdom’s LGBT advisory panel has disbanded after resignations, Chile’s Constitutional Court struck down a law that made homosexual conduct grounds for divorce, Yukon's new gender-affirming care policy is the most comprehensive in Canada, and the United Nations will boost security for LGBT+ refugees after a deadly arson attack at Kenyan camp.

Unfortunately, LGBTQ people faced threats in Iraq, an attack on a blogger has driven the gay community underground in Uzbekistan, and conservatives in the United States continue their war on transgender children.

Individual and collective activism is necessary to maintain our safety and procure our freedom! What are ways you are getting involved this week?
