State of the World…

This week gave us cause for celebration!

LGBT Hands

Switzerland and Tlaxcala, Mexico progressed with marriage equality, a retired doctor launched a new legal bid to end Singapore's gay sex ban, a gay ex-policeman in Indonesia took his battle to court over wrongful dismissal, the French Europe Minister came out as gay and committed to visiting ‘LGBT-free’ zones in Poland, and the United States Supreme Court rejected a legal challenge to trans-affirming school policies.

Unfortunately alongside these great advances, a new right-wing party supporting anti-LGBT sentiment entered parliament in Romania

While we look at the news from a macro-perspective, sustainable change happens at the local level. We hope you get into the holiday season by giving yourself the present of fierce, radical self-care so you can keep loving and fighting hard!
