This week Alan Turing became the first gay man on a British banknote, Canada's House of Commons passed a conversion-therapy ban, and New Zealand's Prime Minister defended the selection of a trans weightlifter for the Tokyo Olympics.
In addition to this, fans made a pro-LGBT protest at a Germany-Hungary soccer game, the European Union will investigate Hungary over an anti-LGBT law, thousands marched for LGBT equality in Poland, and the United States' Supreme Court again rejected a license to discriminate.
We hope you hold these advances as positive signs that collective action creates change! Stay healthy, happy, and resilient in this week ahead.
