State of the World…

Time to grab your flag and organize!

We saw many great advances this week for LGBTI+ rights. Tens of thousands protested for marriage equality in Switzerland, Mexico’s Yucatán made marriage equality official at the same time that Mexico's Supreme Court voted unanimously to decriminalize abortion, an EU court ruled that Austria must give gay refugee another shot at asylum, and the Evangelical Lutheran Church installed its first transgender bishop.

This news is met with the devastating TV ban on men who are not seen as masculine enough in China and as Panama’s Supreme Court of Justice rejected a marriage equality case.

These wins only happened because of our organizing, something we must continue every day in the face of these setbacks. How will you organize for LGBTI+ rights in the week ahead?
